Slow down you're here!

All our properties are located on Waiheke Island — a paradise of beaches, vineyards, and laid-back charm. Below, you’ll find everything you need to make the most of your visit: how to get here, where to eat and drink, and what to see and do while you’re on the island.

If you can’t find the answer to your question, don’t hesitate to reach out via our contact form, we’re happy to help.

How to get here

Getting to Waiheke Island is easy, whether you're travelling on foot or bringing your car. Regular passenger ferries run from Auckland’s downtown ferry terminal (Queen’s Wharf) — you can book with Fullers360 or Island Direct.

If you’re bringing your vehicle, SeaLink offers car ferry services from Half Moon Bay and Auckland CBD (Hamer Street).

Once on the island, getting around is simple. Take a local bus, or book a taxi through Kiwi Connect (021 492 016) or Waicabs (027 924 2227).

Beaches & Nature

Waiheke’s natural beauty is hard to beat. From sheltered bays perfect for swimming to windswept coastal tracks with panoramic views, the island is made for outdoor exploration. Pack a picnic, follow the trails, or simply soak up the sun on one of many pristine beaches.

A few of our favourites include Palm Beach, Onetangi Beach, and Oneroa Beach. For something a little more off the beaten path, head to the eastern end of the island and take in the stunning natural scenery.

Waiheke is also home to some incredible walks — we recommend the Te Ara Hura walking track network. You can explore the island’s diverse landscapes and download the full map of trails here.

Restaurants & Vineyards

Waiheke is a food and wine lover’s paradise. Enjoy long lunches at award-winning vineyards, sip locally made wines with sweeping sea views, or discover tucked-away eateries serving fresh, seasonal fare. Whether it’s fine dining or casual bites, the island delivers unforgettable flavours in unforgettable settings.
